I got a phone call to confirm my service appointment, then an email to say it was it was a free vehicle inspection that I was getting. I did not receive documentation at the end of the service, showing what was done, mileage, tyre tread measurement.

The problem is or always has been if we think there might be a problem for instance the faulty lights we have to book the car in to get it checked so that's a day wasted . Then it has to be booked in again to get the job fixed so that's another day

It was satisfactory! I don't want or expect frills from a car service, but Harry Fairbairn provides a pleasant area in which to wait, and there are enough staff to deal with all the customers as we arrive
